Briefly about SVU

What is SVU?

  • The State Educational Support for Adults (SVU) is an educational grant that allows you to continue or further your education during working hours.

  • SVU is a salary reimbursement grant for your employer to cover the hours you spend on your education during working hours where you are unavailable to your employer.

Who can apply?

People who can answer yes to ALL the questions below:

  • You have been employed for more than 26 weeks at the start of your education.

  • You do not have a higher education*.
